About the Role
- Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations.
- Counsel patients and their families on hearing loss, treatment options, and hearing aid use.
- Fit, program, and dispense hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
- Perform hearing aid repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
- Adhere to all ethical and professional standards, including those set by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- Assist in community outreach programs and hearing screenings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Audiology from a recognized university.
- Valid registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- Optional: 1 year of experience
- Knowledge of current audiological practices and technologies.
- Strong clinical skills in diagnostic audiology and hearing aid fitting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care.
- Must meet the requirements and norms as stipulated by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) for the position of Grade II Audiologist.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: โน40,000 – โน60,000 (commensurate with skills and experience)
