Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physiotherapist specializing in Adults Vestibular Rehabilitation, Orthopedics, and Pediatrics. The ideal candidate will provide patient-centered care, develop individualized rehabilitation programs, and utilize innovative techniques to improve patient outcomes. The role involves maintaining comprehensive documentation in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and demonstrating fluency in both Telugu and English.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adults Vestibular Rehabilitation:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of vestibular function including balance, dizziness, and coordination.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to reduce vertigo, improve balance, and enhance overall mobility.
- Utilize specialized techniques such as gaze stabilization exercises, habituation exercises, and balance retraining.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to adjust treatments based on patient progress and emerging research.
- Orthopedics (Ortho):
- Evaluate patients with musculoskeletal injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation needs.
- Formulate and execute rehabilitation protocols that focus on restoring strength, flexibility, and functional movement.
- Employ manual therapy, mobilization techniques, and patient education to optimize recovery.
- Continuously monitor patient progress and update treatment plans accordingly.
- Pediatrics:
- Assess and treat pediatric patients with developmental, neuromuscular, or orthopedic conditions.
- Develop engaging and age-appropriate rehabilitation programs aimed at enhancing motor skills and independence.
- Work closely with families to provide education on home exercises and postural corrections.
- Adapt therapy techniques to suit the dynamic needs of children, fostering a supportive and motivating environment.
- General Responsibilities:
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in the EMR, including patient history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Stay updated with the latest physiotherapy advancements and be open to learning new methods.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Adhere to established clinical protocols while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the rehabilitation process.
Qualifications:
- Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy
- Fluent in Telugu
- Open to learning new methods and techniques in physiotherapy
