About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Grade I Speech-Language Pathologist / Clinical Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and overseeing clinical services in their area of specialization, as well as supervising students, interns, Grade II speech-language pathologists, and research projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of our speech-language pathology services and mentor the next generation of speech-language pathologists.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage clinical setups in a specialized area of speech-language pathology, such as:
- Child Language Disorders: Articulation, phonology, language delay, specific language impairment
- Fluency Disorders: Stuttering, cluttering
- Voice Disorders: Vocal nodules, dysphonia
- Motor Speech Disorders: Dysarthria, apraxia
- Aphasia: Language impairments post-stroke or brain injury
- Dysphagia: Swallowing disorders
- Cognitive-Communication Disorders: Cognitive impairments affecting communication
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD): Communication and social skills intervention
- Supervise and mentor speech-language pathology students, interns, and Grade II speech-language pathologists in clinical practice.
- Conduct and oversee research projects to advance the field of speech-language pathology.
- Participate in community service initiatives to promote communication and swallowing health.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical standards, including those set by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of speech-language pathology protocols and procedures.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized university.
- Valid registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- Minimum of 1 years of clinical experience in speech-language pathology.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or mentorship role.
- Expertise in one or more specialized areas of speech-language pathology (as listed above).
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and management of communication and swallowing disorders.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
- Must meet the requirements and norms as stipulated by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) for the position of Grade I Speech-Language Pathologist / Clinical Supervisor
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹75,000 (commensurate with skills and experience)
