Welcome to RASYA Indo-American Clinic, a pioneering institution established in 2019 during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Founded by Dr. Yugandhar Ramakrishna, AuD, PhD, CCC-A a distinguished Vestibular Neuroscientist and Professor at California State University, Northridge, and Dr. Tejaswini Boreddy, AuD, RASYA Clinic was born out of the necessity for specialized care in Vertigo, Dizziness, Hearing Loss, Tinnitus, and Speech Therapy.
RASYA Clinic History
The inception of RASYA Clinic was inspired by a personal journey. Driven by the quest to find adequate treatment for his father's sudden hearing loss and vertigo, Dr. Yugandhar Ramakrishna, along with co-founders Dr. Tejaswini Boreddy, Ananda Reddy Boreddy, Yeswanth Kumar Ramakrishna, and Vedavathi Ramakrishna, laid the foundation for India's state-of-the-art center for Vestibular and Auditory services during the COVID-19 pandemic.

About Dr. Yugandhar Ramakrishna
Dr. YUGANDHAR RAMAKRISHNA is a Vestibular Neuroscientist, Professor (Asst.), Doctor of Audiology, and former Director of the Hearing & Balance Centre at California State University, USA. He is an American Speech & Hearing Association (ASHA) certified Doctor of Audiology (CCC-A) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (F-AAA).
A Professor and A Scientist
Dr. Yugandhar Ramakrishna is an esteemed professional at California State University, teaching Advanced Vestibular courses and conducting clinical and neuro research in humans and animals. He is renowned globally for his expertise in studying vestibular nerve function using the in-vitro patch-clamp technique, exploring the effects of drugs on vestibular efferent neurons to enhance vestibular compensation. Additionally, Dr. Ramakrishna excels in the in-vivo VsEP technique, aiming to improve vestibular knowledge and expedite compensation mechanisms.
Few Achievements
Furthermore, his collaboration with scientists at the State University of New York, Buffalo, has led to the development of innovative drug injection techniques into the cochlea, advancing the understanding of drug functionality. These collaborations with top vestibular neuroscientists at Johns Hopkins University and across esteemed institutions have resulted in numerous publications in prestigious American and international journals, showcasing his impactful contributions to the field.

About Dr. Tejaswini Boreddy
Dr. Tejaswini Boreddy holds a Doctor of Audiology (AuD) from Salus University, specializing in vestibular and balance sciences through a fellowship under the guidance of Dr. Yugandhar Ramakrishna, a distinguished vestibular neuroscientist and professor at California State University. She is recognized as one of India's few AudioVestibular Specialists, renowned for her compassionate approach and expertise in treating over thousands of patients with chronic vertigo and dizziness.
Backbone of RASYA Indo-American Clinic
Dr. Tejaswini Boreddy's vision upon returning to India was to create a cutting-edge clinic offering premier care for individuals with hearing, balance and speech disorders, aligning with American standards of practice. She identified a significant gap in India's healthcare system, where quality services in audiology and vestibular sciences were lacking, leaving many patients undiagnosed or untreated. Dr. Boreddy aimed not only to provide top-notch care but also to educate and empower both the public and professionals about the importance and scope of audiology and vestibular sciences, thereby enhancing overall healthcare outcomes in the country.
